2024 St. Jude Championship Prize Money: Payout from $20M Fund for First FedEx Cup Playoffs Event
The regular season may be over, but that doesn’t mean the PGA Tour’s big prize money is over for the year. Moving into the postseason, the PGA Tour will reward those who qualify for the 2024 St. Jude Championship — and the next two weeks of the FedEx Cup Playoffs — pretty handsomely, starting with the $20 million prize on offer in Memphis.
That total represents the eight regular-season signature events. The winner’s prize will total $3.6 million — the same as the five signature events, with the Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational and Memorial paying out a little more at $4 million to their champions.
Scottie Scheffler has won major money tournaments this season; he has four wins at the 2024 Special Event. Scheffler has collected $15.2 million in winner’s money alone and has amassed more than $28 million so far this season. This puts him fifth on the PGA Tour’s career money list with more than $70 million.

- The watchman: Chris Kirk ($3.6 million)
- Pebble Beach Professional: Wyndham Clark ($3.6 million)
- Genesis Invitational: Hideki Matsuyama ($4 million)
- Arnold Palmer Invitational Tournament: Scottie Scheffler ($4 million)
- RBC Legacy: Scottie Scheffler ($3.6 million)
- Wells Fargo Championship: Rory McIlroy ($3.6 million)
- Memorial Tournament: Scottie Scheffler ($4 million)
- Tourism Championship: Scottie Scheffler ($3.6 million)
The winner won’t be the only player walking out of Memphis with a smile on their face, as everyone in the top 11 will receive at least $500,000. Those in the top 36 will see six figures in their bank accounts, while everyone in the field will receive a paycheck, with last place taking home $40,000.
