2024 Masters tee times, pairings: Complete TV schedule, groups for Friday’s Round 2 at Augusta National
The first round of the 2024 Masters is not yet scheduled as play was suspended due to darkness on Thursday night. Although Round 1 will conclude on Friday, the expectation that it will be concluded early enough so that golfers do not overlap their Round 2 tee times, will remain as scheduled. The same groups that arrived at Augusta National Golf Club on Thursday will continue to do so on Friday as cooperative weather is expected the rest of the way. Round 1 will resume at 7:50 a.m. ET and Round 2 will begin 10 minutes later for some golfers. Lee Hodges, Adrian Meronk and Grayson Murray will be first on the field in Round 2 at 8am as the trio were lucky to complete the first 18 holes. From there, those who endured the worst of the conditions on Thursday afternoon will head to the golf course for a quick change.
Among the first to arrive on the golf course was Tiger Woods, who impressed in his first round of competition in two months. Woods shines brightly alongside Max Homa and Jason Day. The trio will first complete the final five holes of the first round and hope to achieve the same result in the second round which begins at 10:18 a.m.
The second wave will be determined by the two men who play best on Thursday. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be in the penultimate group with Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele at 1:48 p.m. Meanwhile, Day 1 leader Bryson DeChambeau hopes to follow up his maiden round of 65 with a great result another at 11:54 am
