2024 Maserati Grecale on sale in Malaysia – GT 2.0L mild-hybrid and Trofeo 3.0T V6; priced from RM635k
The Maserati Grecale in 2024, the model is now open for order in Malaysia with two versions, the mild hybrid GT from $634,889and the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 Trofeo engine from RM1,100,000; both include local taxes and duties, before custom, road tax and insurance. The Modena 330 PS variant is part of the Preview Grecale in Malaysia in 2022 appears to have been dropped from the lineup.
The 2024 Grecale GT continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with belt-driven start-stop technology (BSG), producing 300 PS at 5,750 rpm and 450 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm, sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission and optional rear limited-slip differential.
This powertrain propels the Grecale GT from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 23.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 240 km/h. As for the chassis, the suspension is a double wishbone setup at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear with optional active damper control and optional air suspension.
Meanwhile, the Grecale Trofeo continues to be powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that produces 530 PS at 6,500 rpm and 620 Nm of torque from 3,000 rpm to 5,500 rpm, also sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. An electronically controlled rear LSD is standard on the Trofeo.
The more powerful powertrain of the two Grecale variants propels the Trofeo from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 13.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 285 km/h. In terms of suspension, the Trofeo is equipped with air springs as standard equipment.
Standard across the 2024 Grecale range is the Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDCM), which offers four driving modes – Comfort, GT, Sport and Off-Road.
Braking on the Grecale GT is 350mm ventilated discs at the front and 330mm at the rear, shod in 20-inch wheels. For the Trofeo, the brakes are 360mm ventilated and perforated discs and six-piston calipers at the front and 350mm ventilated and perforated discs at the rear, shod in 21-inch mixed-width wheels, with 255/40R21 tires at the front and 295/35R21 tires at the rear.
Inside the 2024 Grecale, the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display is complemented by a 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen and an 8.8-inch display for additional controls, while the Trofeo version can be optioned with a head-up display.
As before, the Sonus Faber sound system with up to 21 speakers remains available. Interior upholstery and trim include “Saffiano-inspired” leather dashboard inserts, polished inserts on the center console and door panels.
In Malaysia, the 2024 Maserati Grecale is priced from RM634,889 and the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Trofeo is priced from RM1,100,000; both include local duties and taxes, before customisation, road tax and insurance. Both Grecale variants come with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, with an optional 10-year warranty extension.
