We got our first look at 2024 Acura ZDX Electric luxury SUV. And as we’d expect, it doesn’t follow the same tire track as the exciting coupe of the same name. Instead, it is clearly based on Acura Precision EV concept, albeit clearly reduced.
Quite conventional overall, with a relatively upright rear hatchback. But ZDX still looks quite sleek with low bangs and rather long nose. And on that roof’s theme, it features a partially floating design previewed on the Precision.
The ZDX’s nose looks much more blunt than the Precision EV’s, which we don’t think is a bad thing, as the Precision is a minor point. And at the rear, the rear fender looks more pronounced and the window sill area is also pushed out further. Again, these are not bad changes for us.
Like Honda’s PrologueZDX will be based on GM The Ultium platform, possibly the version that underpins Chevy Blazer and Cadillac Lyriq. Only one wide A wide range of engine configurations can be offered on the ZDX. Since there will be a Type S version, we can see that it will Blazers EV From SS 557 hp dual-motor all-wheel drive system. It’s hard to say whether the other versions will only be all-wheel drive or there will be rear- or front-wheel drive versions, as it’s all possible. We should know more when the SUV makes its debut in 2024.
