2023 WMoto Bobbie VII now available in Malaysia, RM35,888 – Bobbie VII sidecar combination pending VTA approval
For the Malaysian midsize cruiser market, the WMoto Bobbie VII 2023 has arrived for RM35,888. Prices do not include road tax, insurance and registration with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
With two color options on offer – Matte Black and Metallic Black – there was also a surprise reveal of the Bobbie VII cruiser with a two-wheeler combo during its premiere at CA Cycle Advance in Kajang. Currently awaiting VTA approval, no official information has been released on the price of the Bobbie VII sidecar but a source said, “if approved, it will cost around RM50,000 more.”
Bobbie VII is equipped with a liquid-cooled parallel engine, capacity of 693 cc. Power is rated at 74 hp at 8,500 rpm with 643 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
With a weight of 211 kg, Bobbie VII uses telescopic forks at the front and double shock absorbers with adjustable preload at the rear. Braking is done with single hydraulic discs front and rear with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Styling-wise, the Bobbie VII follows the traditional cruiser look with a classic 15 liter fuel tank. The seats come in two pieces for the driver and the rear passenger, with a bronze “Bobbie” logo adorning the back of the seat.
LED lighting is used throughout, and the panel is a combination of digital and analog LCD screens. Other conveniences while driving include a USB charging port for the driver’s electronic device.
