2023 Peugeot 308 price and specifications

After revealing the local range in July and the indicative price in September, Peugeot Australia announced more official prices for 308 hatchback and wagon.

Range starts from $43,990 before on-road expenses for the GT hatchback and topped at $50,490 before hitting the road for GT Premium wagon – $500 cheaper than previously reported.

Don’t expect the wagon to be the most expensive small Pug in the long run, though, with the brand yet to confirm local pricing for the GT Sport Plug-In Hybrid hatchback. However, it previously announced an indicative price of $66,990 before shipping.

PHEVs will arrive in the first half of 2023, while petrol models will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Online and dealership pre-orders are now open for petrol models, while PHEV investors can only register their preference at this stage. Details about the PHEV will be announced closer to the launch date.

Price makes new 308 a more premium proposition, with even the base model costing $10,000 more than the entry-level Allure hatch found in the previous range.

However, the new base model has more premium features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, as well as standard matrix LED headlights.
