LIV Golf returns to the states this week as players join Cedar Ridge Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the LIV Golf Tulsa event. The sixth event in its second year campaign, LIV Golf Tulsa follows a successful international run that included LIV Golf Adelaide in Australia and LIV Golf Singapore.

The star of the show this time around is none other than Talor Gooch. Oklahoma State Product leads a large group of OSU alumni in the field including Charles Howell III, Peter Uihlein, and Matthew Wolff. After becoming the first player in LIV Golf history to win back-to-back events, Gooch set his sights on winning in his backyard.

The 31-year-old is keen to maintain this momentum as he needs to perform strongly at next week’s PGA Championship to qualify for the US Open in June after falling to 63rd in the world. Gooch isn’t the only member of LIV Golfers may have had their eyes on Oak Hill Country Club.

LIV Golf Orlando winner Brooks Koepka looks very ready to compete for the third Wanamaker Trophy. Coming in second to Jon Rahm at the 2023 Masters, Koepka confirms his major championship form may be emerging. Former major champions who could make it to the final in Rochester, New York, include 4Aces captain Dustin Johnson and his right-hand man Patrick Reed, who recently finished in the top five at the Masters. However, before reaching the PGA Championship, they must first get through this week’s LIV Golf Tulsa.
