Entering the classic liter motorcycle market in Malaysia is 2023 Brixton Cromwell 1200, priced at RM55,888 for the first 100 customers. After that, the Cromwell 1200 will retail for RM58,888.
Prices do not include road tax, insurance and registration but include a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects. There are two color options for the Brixton 1200 – Backstage Black or Green – and are available at authorized Brixton dealers across Malaysia.
As Brixton’s largest motorcycle, the Cromwell 1200 bears many similarities to 1200 . double speed win and comes with a liquid-cooled parallel motor. With a capacity of 1,222 cc, the Cromwell 1200 produces 83 PS of power at 6,550 rpm and a maximum torque of 108 Nm at 3,100 rpm.
Despite its distinctly nostalgic styling, the Cromwell 1200 is equipped with all the modern driving comforts. These include a TFT-LCD screen with two display modes, two ride modes, cruise control and LED lights.
Safety is not overlooked with dual-channel ABS and traction control (which can be turned off if the driver wishes.) The suspension is also a well-known brand, in this case Kayaba’s, with a diameter telescopic fork. 41 mm with 120 mm stroke. travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear with adjustable preload and with a stroke of 87 mm.
In keeping with the classic design of the Cromwell 1200, spoked wheels are fitted, with 18-inch rims at the front and 17-inch at the rear, shod with 100/90 and 150/70 tyres, respectively. Nissin provides dual 310 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 260 mm disc brake at the rear.
With 16 liters of fuel in the tank, the Cromwell 1200 weighs 235 kg, while the seat height is set at 800 mm. With the above price, Brixton’s distributor MForce Bike Holdings will also provide free genuine accessories, including a 10-liter waterproof saddlebag, fuel tank lining and aluminum wheels under the engine.
