Remember the car that Tony Stark drove Avengers: Game over? That is Audi e-tron GTand the all-electric sports sedan will make its official debut today, joining the Q8 e-tron in the e-tron lineup of PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM).

The World performance car of 2022 first launched in February 2021 and is built on the J1 platform, shared with the Porsche Taycan. e-tron GT measures 4,989 mm long, 1,964 mm wide, 1,414 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Compared to its SUV classmate mentioned at the beginning, the e-tron GT line is a lot simpler when it comes to the number of variants on offer.

On the first level, there’s the e-tron GT quattro retailing at RM588,790 on the road without insurance. For the money, you get an all-wheel drive electric powertrain with one electric motor on each axle, with the motor up front paired to a single-speed transmission, while the rear unit has a two-speed gearbox.

Together, they deliver a total system output of 476 PS (469 hp or 350 kW) and 630 Nm of torque, helping to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and top speed. 245 km/h. If you need a little more, the available boost mode will temporarily give you 530 PS (523 hp or 390 kW) and 640 Nm so you can complete the sprint of the century in just 4, 1 second. Convenient.

Powering the electric motors is a lithium-ion battery with a total energy capacity of 83.7 kWh (93.4 kWh total) providing a range of up to 458 km according to WLTP standards. For charging, the e-tron GT quattro supports a maximum AC input (Type 2) of 11 kW, with a full charge taking about nine hours. When plugged into a DC fast charger capable of matching a car’s maximum input power of 270 kW, a state of charge (SoC) from 5-80% takes just 22.5 minutes.

Standard equipment included with this variant includes 20-inch 5-spoke aero-modular alloy wheels in black, controlled dampers (not air suspension), audio system e-tron sports bar, Audi steering, LED headlights and taillights with dynamic turn signals, Black exterior package plus, panoramic glass sunroof, leatherette interior details, steering wheel three-spoke flat bottom, perforated leather upholstery, power-adjustable front sport seats with driver memory function and three-zone climate control.

Infotainment needs are met by MMI Navigation plus the MMI touch system, which features a 10.1-inch touchscreen as well as support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via the Audi smartphone interface. Another display in the interior is Audi’s 12.3-inch virtual cockpit (digital instrument cluster).

In terms of safety and driver assistance systems, the e-tron GT quattro comes standard with eight airbags, Audi front and rear sensors (including AEB), adaptive cruise control (with speed limiter, effective assist with turn assist and turn assist), lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring as well as front and rear cross-traffic assist.

If you want to upgrade the kit list, the e-tron GT quattro can also be ordered with the Dynamic Package which has an asking price of up to RM667,790. This is made possible by higher power from the pair of electric motors, delivering 598 PS (590 hp or 440 kW) and 830 Nm. As well as the “base” option, there’s an acceleration mode that briefly boosts peak power to 646 PS (637 hp or 475 kW) so you can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in no time. 3.3 seconds. Range is sacrificed for more squeal, with 447 km being powered by a battery with the same power capacity as the e-tron GT quattro.

In terms of equipment, the RS e-tron GT is almost identical to the e-tron GT quattro with the Dynamic Package, but it has some variant-specific items such as 21-inch black 5-spoke dual-concave 5-spoke modular alloys, leather. More important are the driving-related features exclusive to the RS e-tron GT, including a controlled rear differential lock for quattro all-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and air suspension. adaptive compression.

Every e-tron GT purchased comes with a standard two-year warranty and five-year roadside assistance. Customers can opt for the Audi Insurance Package (AAP) to add three years of vehicle warranty for a total of five years. The AAP costs RM12,000 for the e-tron GT quattro variant, while it’s RM15,000 for the RS e-tron GT.

The EV battery is backed by an 8-year, 160,000 km warranty, and customers will receive a Compact e-tron Charging System that includes a smart compact charger and a power cable. This can be used with a standard household electrical outlet of 1.8 to 2.3 kW or through a three-phase power supply of 11 kW.

Charging can be set to 100% and 50% of the charge power on the charger to avoid overloading the home electrical system. As an added benefit, owners will also receive a free RM1,000 worth of JomCharge credits with a validity period of one year.
