2022 Zurich Classic: Live stream, how to watch online, TV schedule, station coverage, golf tee times

Top of the pitch at this week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans is as good as ever. Among those on the course are the reigning Masters champion, as well as two other teams of players currently in the top 12 of the Official World Golf Ranking.

Scottie Scheffler and Ryan Palmer were among the headlines as Scheffler attempted to win the tournament for the fifth of his last seven starts, which would have been really remarkable if he had gone in February without no PGA Tour wins in his career. They are not favorites, however, because the teams of Patrick Cantlay-Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa-Viktor Hovland share that honor.

The team they will all have to stop is the Australian duo of Cameron Smith (who is using a hearth of his own) and Marc Leishman. Those two won the playoffs at TPC Louisiana last time around, and they’ll be trying to retain a substantial load course (especially during this part of the golf season) to do it again.

This week offers something that no other PGA Tour event on the calendar can claim, which is four rounds of team play with Rounds 1 and 3 played as four balls and Rounds 2 and 4 played under alternate firing.

“I would say just because it’s not a regular tournament, [it] “Cantlay said.” It breaks the monotony of it all, “It feels like it’s a little more fun or a little more engaging just because you barely play rotation for the rest of the year. You’re not playing well. When you get the rare opportunity to do that, it’s a little more fun because it’s off from the regular 72-hole stroke.”
