Adhamo winless in seven starts since entering the 2022 United Nations Stakes (G1T) at Monmouth Parkreturns to Jersey Shore on June 15 in hopes of getting his relationships back to their best form.
6 year old boy wisdom horse is among a controversial group of nine horses entered in the 1 1/8-mile Monmouth Stakes (G3T)—one of two graded turf races on Saturday’s four-stakes card along with the Eatontown Stakes (G3T) at 1 1/16 miles for fillies and mares.
The $150,000 Monmouth Stakes looks to be the stronger race, having also attracted graded stakes winners Beatbox , Public area , Big love song And Tawny Harbor —plus a few others with small or ranked bet wins.
Although Adhamo has performed below expectations since winning the 1 3/8 mile United Nations in July 2022, his decline has not been entirely without cause. His six races immediately following the 2022 UN are all Grade 1, including the likes of the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1T) and the 2024 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (G1T). He finished 10th in both races each time.
Most recently, he finished eighth in the March 23 Muniz Memorial Classic Stakes (G2T) at Racetracks & Slots at Fair Grounds2 1/4 lengths behind fourth place Beatbox.
Chad Brown trains Adhamo for owners Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables and Louis Lazzinnaro. After importing from France, they have been racing him in the United States since early 2022.

Eatontown a classified opportunity for the Ocean Club
None of the 10 $150,000 Eatontown fillies and mares scored at graded level, although four—Sacred wish , Thirty Kelvin friends , Spirit and glory And Ocean Club —are those who acquire shares outside the rated company.
Glen Hill Farm’s Ocean Club carries some of its best recent form into Eatontown, having won two in a row, including the Monroe Stakes at Gulfstream Park May 18. Daughter of curled up also won the Martha Washington Stakes there in 2023 in her 3-year-old season.
She won the rankings last year when she came second and was the eventual Grade 1 winner Anisette in the San Clemente Stakes (G2T) at Del Mar.

Sacred Wish and Spirit And Glory escaped sharp performances at Water racetrack. The former claimed a quadruple optional allowance in her most recent attempt, while the latter finished third in the Beaugay Stakes (G3T) after a strong win in the Plenty of Grace Stakes.
Sacred Wish, who is second in the 2023 American Oaks (G1) Training Club on dirt, has performed consistently well on turf in five starts since being transferred to surfaces by trainer George Weaver. that side last year.
