2022 Presidents Cup Matches, tee times: Quartets, teams, complete schedule for Day 1 on Thursday

The 14th edition of the Presidents Cup kicks off on Thursday as the United States struggles to defend the trophy after winning the event’s final run in 2019. Significantly favored to win the 2022 Presidents Cup, the Americans will be looking for a quick start in the quarterfinals on Day 1. Captain Davis Love III has opted for the traditional route in his pairings against several general partner, while International captain Trevor Immelman has gone down a different path.

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele will headline the USA’s attempt to warm up the home crowd in the first game. Bringing the caboose are two of the loveliest players on tour in Tony Finau and Max Homa. With three combined wins since late July, it’s a strong partnership for the United States and faces a pair of international rookies Mito Pereira and Taylor Pendrith in the final match of Day 1.
