The 2022 Haval H6 was awarded the highest award in ANCAP crash testing, scoring 5 stars against the latest 2020-2022 criteria.

Haval’s mid-size SUV earns a five-star safety rating with scores of 90% for adult protection, 88% for child protection, and 73% for protecting vulnerable road users. injury and 81% on safety support.
This five-star safety rating applies to all petrol variants currently on sale, with the upcoming hybrid model not yet rated.
ANCAP said Haval H6 “Performs well in all rating areas”, with full marks awarded for rider protection in both side and oblique crash tests, lightning protection for front and rear occupants and protect front-seat passengers in the frontal deflection test.
However, the safety agency awarded a marginal rating to the driver’s chest protection in the same frontal deflection test.

The H6 also scores well in child protection, with ANCAP noting the SUV’s ability to “accommodate a range of conventional safety seats”.
ANCAP praised the Haval H6’s active safety systems, with good ratings in all emergency lane-keeping tests and automatic emergency braking performance between car and car to cyclist.
