2022 Charles Schwab Challenge: Live stream, watch online, TV schedule, tee times, radio, golf coverage
There’s been a quick turnaround for the PGA Tour following the 2022 PGA Championship last weekend, when 120 competitors put on their golf shoes and headed for the Charles Schwab Challenge, which was played on Thursday in Forth Worth, Texas. Scottie Scheffler, world No. 1 and resident of the Dallas area, was among three players to claim the top spot as we head into the weekend.
Despite the tournament being played on his home turf, this season’s four-time PGA Tour winner failed to break into the top 50 at the Charles Schwab Challenge. However, the same cannot be said for his Texas Longhorn teammate Jordan Spieth, as the 28-year-old has consistently played a key role in this tournament since joining the PGA Tour. In 9 appearances, Spieth not only owns a win in 2016, but also has 3 runners-up results and 4 additional results in the top 15. The world No. 9 will try to add to the list. his stellar calendar, as does his good friend and lauded two-time PGA Championship winner, Justin Thomas.
Unlike most weeks on the PGA Tour, the Charles Schwab Challenge presents relatively difficult scoring conditions for players. With a fully loaded field and a winning score that lies somewhere in between among the under-par teens, one of the best tournaments of the year is likely to take place this week.
