Some cars never go out of style. It’s rare, but it happens. They get old. They get devaluation. But they never stop looking great.
Some may call them modern or instant classics. Within a few years, they’re no longer the newest and greatest, no longer the flavor of the month, but they’re still special. Especially eternal. Beyond time.
These cars won’t necessarily be worth the price someday. However, some may not depreciate as quickly or slowly as other models. But that’s not what we’re talking about here. These are cars that enthusiasts will always find desirable from the curb. They’re the cars you buy on eBay late at night 10 years later because you can’t get them out of your head. They are cars that will forever excite you when you spot a clean one in traffic or in a parking lot.
There are many recent examples of the past few decades can be considered as instant design classics. But then we have to think, will the 2021 models be forever fascinating to look at? What new cars and trucks will we be shopping for today on eBay late at night in the 2030s? We dropped supercars and other super expensive cars off the list to keep things within reach, and ended up with a total of 12.
Lexus LC
We don’t apply numerical ratings to any of the cars on this list, but if we, Lexus LC will be No. first. There is no other car design out there can stir up our emotions the way LC can when it’s just standing still. This car is a concept design that becomes reality in the most beautiful ways and it is a winner of Concours events for decades to come. All these accolades, and we haven’t even received them yet LC 500Enthralling 5.0-liter V8. It doesn’t win drag races. It won’t be the fastest on the track compared to any similarly priced competition. But none of that is a problem. It could be best car you can buy new, and that says it all when it comes to LC.
Chevrolet Corvette
It may not be as shocking as the Lexus LC, but New C8 Corvette was and always will be a special vehicle. It was the first mid-engine Escort ship, which instantly cemented it as an area known for its automobiles. All the specs and performance stats are there to support its supercar-like looks, and it’s still the best performance bargain on sale today. In addition to the C8 getting an exotic exterior, it is also the first Corvette to offer an interior that can compete side by side with luxury competitors. There are plenty of reasons why the C8 is still expected for years to come, which means it deserves to be on this list.
Alfa Romeo Giulia
Guess which four-door sedan we’ll park in our garage, and before our brains can stop us, our hearts have to’Giuliaon our tongue. It’s been a few years since Giulia starts selling here, but that hardly matters, as it is as beautiful today as it was then. You don’t have to choose Quadrifoglio . model to capture the beauty of Giulia’s design, but it doesn’t hurt either. We’ll never tire of hearing the Ferrari-sourced 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 sing its sweet Italian tunes, and the styling is guaranteed to remain appealing for years to come.
Ford Bronco 2 doors and 4 doors
Ford just created its own style for the new car Bronco 2 doors and 4 doors, so how can the new be obsolete when the old is still breaking its neck today? Absolute variation in looks and style on offer from Ford when it comes to Bronco also helps. The 2-door base with the manual might be the ideal build for someone, but someone else’s dream Bronco might be the 4-Door Land with the Sasquatch pack. Those two look very different, but both will stand the test of time. Just like the next all-terrain vehicle on this list, we doubt the Bronco will be out of shape for a long time.
Jeep Wrangler
If Bronco infiltrates, then Wrangler too. Jeep has no real reason to change Wrangler all of which has been strong over the past few generations, which is testament to its ability to stay in style for decades to come. You can get bigger tires than ever, add a bunch of LED lights and even get it with dip into the mixture powertrain, but the basic design of the Wrangler is nowhere to be found. Just look at used prices, and you’ll see that Wrangler doesn’t seem to have an end date when it will lose popularity. Old Wranglers are great. The new Wranglers are great, and chances are good that future Wranglers will be cool too.
Porsche 911
Of course we include Porsche 911 in this list. The 992-generation 911 may be the biggest and most touring car-like ever, but it still leaves itself largely unchallenged for its glaringly high cost. Just like the Wrangler and Bronco earlier on this list, Porsche makes the 911 the right choice for you given its wide range of body styles and performance levels. It doesn’t matter which generation of 911 you bring in – it all stays the same. And yes, even the long-disliked 996 generation is heading for a comeback and resurgence in price. All things considered, it’s hard to think of a model that fits this list better than the 911.
Audi RS6 Avant
Now this is where we enter the world of wagons. RS6 Avant could have been in second place after Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Wagon in Check out our comparison, but that doesn’t change the fact that it looks better by a wide margin. Hot Audi wagons, as long as they return (RS2 Avant) never lose their style or great element. See how RS6 The Avant is easily one of the nicest cars you can buy today, it’s easy to make this list. Just look at it! This wagon will outlast any other performance intersection or SUV in desirability and depreciated by a foolishly wide margin.
Volvo V60
V90 could also have easily come up with this list, but we decided to go V60 on account of Its available Polestar Engineered models and sportier design. Any Volvo wagon from the last few decades is proof that the newest and greatest also deserves a place among other cars that are not outdated. They’re boxy, quirky, and it’s pleasant to drive and stare at. We’re not sure how long the PHEV will last, but if there’s one relatively affordable PHEV to keep in mind from this era, it’s got to be the V60 T8 Polestar Engineered. This car will last, and even if you can get them for a reasonable price one day, it will always be a treat for anyone who loves cars.
Mazda MX-5
This is almost as easy to include Porsche 911. The question of the best affordable sports car persists these days with New BRZ and GR 86 launched, but Miata definitely the iconic choice to make with the longest history behind it. The fact that the Miata’s generation ND looks so good makes it even easier to declare its timelessness. Mazda gave us a super small, light and beautiful sports car that we all wanted. It drives the way we dream, so there’s no way this little Miata will go out of style anytime soon.
Dodge Challenger
Now then Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro has gone in the direction of sports cars, only Dodge has retained the bastion of true American muscle. No car exemplifies this point better the Dodge Challenger. It’s nostalgia fitted to a massive, supercharged V8 that makes enough noise to instantly become the celebrity of any neighborhood. We haven’t seen a better application of retro styling cues on a sports car since, and considering the general shape and design remain unchanged for a feel like forever, so to speak. Dodge did just this. We know The electrochemical Dodges are coming, so enjoy this timeless classic while it’s still here drinking every last drop of gas it can.
Jaguar F-Type
Type F It’s one of those cars that looks so good that it makes us overlook some of its major flaws. It’s what you buy when style is the number one buying factor. 911 will handle it. A Corvette would be better than it. But nothing beats the F-Type when it comes to pure styling. And if you get an R or an SVR, nothing will beat the sound it comes from quad hellacious exhaust. No problem Consumer Reports Reliability studies can tell that this Jaguar will always have a special place in our hearts and it’s well-deserved.
Toyota 4Runner
We’ll end this list with some good off-road Toyota features. Tacoma could work as an alternative in this case, but our favorite is 4Runner. Toyota trucks don’t change often, and when they do, change is slow. It’s all good and good for 4Runner, because it is a pinnacle design in the off-road vehicle genre. The SUV styling is simple and certainly doesn’t get old, and while others outdo it in terms of technology, the 4Runner never stops being interesting. Like almost every other Toyota truck, the 4Runner will retain its value well into its later years, and Toyota’s design is one of the key factors to thank for it.
