You must book and travel before the expiration date
Please note that you must make a reservation and travel at least one leg before your coupon expires. For example, if you earn your voucher in January 2023, you must fly the sector before January 2025. Thankfully, your return ticket may be after the expiration date.

You can only earn 1 Travel Together Ticket per card per year
You can only earn one Travel Together Ticket per year with British Airways Visa card signature. So even if you spend five times the amount required to activate the coupon, you will only earn one voucher.
However, you can have two Travel Together tickets in your Executive Club account at the same time if you earn one at the end of the year and the other at the beginning of the next. In return, you can use both for the same trip for a family of four, as long as both are still valid when you start the trip.

You can only start and end your journey in the US
As discussed, you can only start and end your journey using a Travel Together in the United States. However, this journey can be anywhere in the US served by British Airways. It serves several smaller US airports, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), Thurgood Marshall Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), and Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Some routes are easier than others

We often see sell economy class tickets to New York for $400 or less, which means you’re paying as much as a cash ticket with only fees, taxes, and surcharges for your “free” seats.
In this case, it would be better to buy cheap cash tickets for both passengers and save the Avios for a more valuable use.
Now you can redeem it for solo travel
While the name suggests it’s designed for two people traveling together, solo travelers can also redeem a Travel Together Ticket to save on Avios.
Instead of the second person not having to pay any Avios, as when two people are traveling together, a solo traveler will only need half of the Avios needed when redeeming a Travel Together Ticket.
So, with a redemption value of 100,000 Avios, using the voucher for a solo travel will only require 50,000 Avios. All fees, taxes and surcharges for solo travelers are still payable.

It can be extremely valuable when used properly

Yes, you may be shocked to have to pay an extra $1,000 in fees, taxes, and surcharges for a second passenger for a first-class, long-haul return flight, but a cash fare on that same flight can be easy. easily up to over $5,000, saving you thousands of dollars by redeeming your Travel Together Ticket.
