To go is one of those films that follows different characters through their adventures while interweaving stories through a common theme. In this case, every story is preceded by a drug-fueled Christmas rampage that goes horribly wrong. Two young grocery store employees are caught up in a strange drug deal, two soap opera actors are held hostage by the police for Christmas dinner by a policeman, and his wife is having an affair. intending to sell them under their MLM plan, two best friends in Vegas having fun in a car chase and gunfight, and other hijinks that ensue. It’s a troubling story about cops, drug dealers, car chases and some kids just looking for a good time. Anything but a traditional Christmas movie, To go gives the holiday awkward laughs and reminds me how glad I am that I am too old to have such adventures anymore.
As the tagline says, “Life begins at 3 a.m.” That’s when I was trying to get some sleep.

I will always love movies set in the city of brotherhood. This movie actually takes place from Christmas to New Year in 1980’s Philadelphia, where two wealthy über commodity brokers bet on whether education or genetics will make someone a criminal. . Their mark? Commodity broker Dan Aykroyd and criminal Eddie Murphy. In the trading place as the title implies, Akroyd’s rich and dignified Louis loses his money, home, friends and life, having to turn to Jamie Lee Curtis’ Ophelia for help. Eddie Murphy’s Billy Ray becomes the little swindler to live in a nice brownstone house with all the money in the world and a new job as a commodity trader to set the stage for. Elements of A Christmas Carol As each of them see what life can be like? Oh yes. Pills and Santa’s suit? Undeniable. In the end double the teaming hero to take down 1 percent? Real. An over-the-top beach scene where a housekeeper has a butler? Sure. Celebrate Christmas and New Year in a gorilla suit? Test.
You absolutely can’t go wrong with this classic school comedy.
