Zoro One Piece Statue Unveiled in Kumamoto
Kumamoto Prefectural Government disclosure a new one One mouthful statue of Roronoa Zoro. The bronze statue is located in Ozu Central Park, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Official One mouthful account that streamed the premiere on YouTube. In addition to the premiere, the program also features music and dance performances by local people.

Zoro is one of the main characters of One mouthful and a founding member of the Straw Hat Pirates. As in the anime and manga series, Zoro’s statue shows the character holding three katanas, one of which is in his mouth. Specifically, the statue is based on the character’s appearance after the skipping time. It even has small details like the scar on the left eye and the stitches on the chest.
The premiere stream features children from the local area dancing in One mouthful– themed costumes, play anime music and practice Kendo. Finally, a professional Iaido swordsman demonstrated how to cut a tatami pole.

Like bronze statue of Nami Prior to that, the statue of Zoro was part of an ongoing effort to revive the province after a major earthquake hit the area in 2016. The deadly earthquake left many people dead or injured, with thousands of people dead or injured. Thousands of people were forced to evacuate. The project started when One mouthful Creator Eiichiro Oda, a native of Kumamoto, decided to help his home province through a partnership with Shueisha. The Zoro statue is the ninth statue in the series, with Jinbe being the next and final statue.
