Big news, can change all day: It’s almost time for the 4th Annual Impy Awards! The Impys is our annual event where we celebrate the best made in Dreams over the past year, as well as the lovely community in and around it. Back in November, we opened nominations – and many of you submitted your favorite work, creators and community members for consideration across 23 huge categories. . Congratulations on doing that!
We are currently gearing up to host an epic awards show on Sunday, March 26 at 9am PT / 5pm GMT to announce this year’s Impy Awards winners – some judged by us with the help of friends from across the creative industries, others by CoMmunity. (More on how to vote in a bit!)
How great over-the-top you ask? Well, we can’t seem to find the perfect venue for this year’s awards show, as some places have very strict safety rules about fire and giant flesh-and-blood monsters (to be honest). that said, you can’t have any fun these days). So we simply created our own dream! In fact, an entire archipelago. Here’s a cheeky little peak at some of the virtual sets we’ll be streaming from:

We thought we’d take advantage of all this extra space by turning this year’s Impys season into a multi-day festival – and merging our real-world selves with the virtual one. Ahead of the main awards ceremony on March 26, we will be hosting some live streams from the beautiful Nomi Countries on our Twitch channel. We have all kinds of events on our schedule, from behind-the-scenes interviews with our developers and community artists, to musical performances, to film reels from the past year. and more.
Our first stream on the road to this year’s Impys starts today. Join us at 9am PT / 5pm GMT on Twitch, where we’ll celebrate Dreams’ 3rd birthday by looking back at the past year – and a quiz Very special community.
