Sitting on a second-floor balcony above the Fasig-Tipton sales ring for the July Selected All Age Horse Sale, blood salesman Steve Young watched as the auction for a 3-year-old deposited his deposit. Like Kuchar, Diamond Hands has been staked this year, second until 2021 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) winner Pizza Bianca in Hilltop Staking at Pimlico racetrack May 20. Most recently, she was fifth on the tier one optional grant claimant list at Belmont Park June 16.
