WSX adds France, Germany and Canada to the 2023 calendar

After two highly successful pilot events in 2022 with over 85,000 fans enjoying world-class transcendental action in Wales and Australia, FIM and SX Global today announced six events for the World Championship. The 2023 FIM World Cross Country Championships (WSX).

The 2023 fixture will expand the championship’s global reach with FIM-approved Championship rounds in France, Germany and Canada, with a return to Australia and the UK. The tournament will also expand to Southeast Asia, with the exact venue to be announced in due course.

WSX will bring its pioneering transcendental experience back to the UK, at Villa Park, Birmingham for the opening round on 1 July.

The Championship will then cross the channel to France for the second round on 22 July at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon-Décines.

The film will arrive in Southeast Asia on September 30, before heading to Dusseldorf, Germany on October 14 at the Merkur Spiel Arena.

On October 28, WSX will be available in Canada at BC Place in Vancouver, and again, the series finale will take place in Melbourne, Australia at Marvel Stadium, on November 24 and 25.
