Who plays in ‘Sunday Night Football’ tonight? Time, TV channel, schedule of NFL Week 13
AFC North and AFC West are battling to see which division can have the biggest logjam of any team with a record of .500 or more.
Currently, the AFC West is winning it. All four teams in their division are currently on all-win records and the first place team is just one match away from the bottom one.
AFC West Ranking
Places | Team | Take note |
first | Chief | 7-4 |
2 | Charger | 6-5 |
3 | Broncos | 6-5 |
4 | Raiders | 6-5 |
The uncertain nature of this division race should make the Week 13 “Sunday Night Football” match even more interesting.
Two of the AFC West teams will fight on national television after their battle was moved from Sunday afternoon to night time. The first-place captain will have to stave off competition from the third-place Broncos if they are to stay top of the table – or better yet, extend their advantage over the other teams in the group.
Kansas City has been favored to win the pre-season and recently shed a cold start to climb up the rankings. Can they continue to rise? Or will the Broncos – who opened as 10 points behind – make the game out of this?
Here’s more on Week 13’s game, plus everything there is to know about how to watch “Sunday Night Football”.

Who plays in ‘Sunday Night Football’ tonight?
- Fit: Broncos at Chiefs
- Location: Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The Broncos (6-5) will travel to Kansas City to face the Captain (7-4) in a game that will decide whether the Captain stays in first place in the crowded AFC West tournament.
All 4 teams in the AFC West are currently with a difference of 6-5 or more. The Chiefs hold the lead in a slim game against the Broncos, Chargers and Raiders but will be hoping to take down Denver this week. The captain is about to say goodbye and Andy Reid holds a career record of 19-3 after a week off. So that would seem to give the Chiefs a big advantage in this game.
The Chiefs won four matches in a row. Their attacks were still a bit messy at times, but the team’s defense played brilliantly in the late game. Switching Chris Jones back into defensive mode from the defensive end made a big difference for those rushed passes and entire unit stops, so expect him to keep running there.
Jones will be looking to put pressure on Teddy Bridgewater after his attacking line has been destroyed in recent weeks. And Bridgewater herself was knocked out last week in the Broncos’ 28-13 win over the Chargers and had to miss a short time. Denver will need him healthy if they are to have a chance at defeating the favored chiefs.
Denver lost 11 games in a row to Kansas City. Peyton Manning started the last game the Broncos won in September 2015.
