What Does an Example of “Climate Alarmism” Look Like – Watts Up With That?

An example of what “Climate Alarmism” looks like

Guest essay by Larry Hamlin

Below is a daily weather chart for the United States on Thursday, July 18, 2024, as presented in the OC Register and LA Times morning newspapers respectively.

For additional comparison, charts of these two countries are shown side by side below.

The daily high and low temperatures for July 18 in all the US cities listed are the same in both of these daily weather charts.

Guess which of these two newspapers (hint – look at the amount of “red”) has been pushing a completely biased climate change panic propaganda campaign for decades?

Yet the media remains puzzled as to why their claims have such low credibility, with AXIOS reporting that as many as 39% of the public say they “have absolutely no trust in the media.”

Clearly this result is well supported and entirely reasonable.
