This weekend we’re welcoming more countries to join us in Normal Time, those awful time zones that for some reason we think it’s great for sunsets to happen while everyone is still Working. I think I was out all weekend. I plan to cycle to Glasgow today, then hike tomorrow to see a small and mysterious isolated cemetery I have passed before in the Highlands. If I have free time, I will come back to Prague with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

I need to take a break from Hollow Knight because it totally breaks me down. I’m thinking I need to lighten the mood with some Judgment (when does PC release???). Encode Not exactly gentle, but hey, it’s really good. So maybe more than that.

Call Of Duty: Vanguard here and I couldn’t be more delighted. Black Ops Cold War wasn’t for me, but my first impressions of Vanguard have made me feel confident this year. Of course, having a favorite Call Of Duty is like having a favorite cup of tea. They’re all basically the same thing, but we like to scream a lot when someone says they prefer PG Tips over Yorkshire tea. Call Of Duty is comfort food, so this weekend I’ll be wrapped in a blanket, drinking hot chocolate, and killing people with an MP40. It’s cozy.

L like it so much Apex Legends Now that the new season has dropped, I’ll be spending my weekend soaking up the lush new island map. The new characters are great too, I don’t think I like the aggressive gameplay, but whoops! Maybe I play Apex a little more annoyingly than I thought I did.

There is a big Deep Rock Galactic update and I want to see how it changes dynamics from dwarves vs bugs to dwarves vs cyborgs.

As we approach the Advent Calendar season, I’m catching up on some great games I missed earlier in the year. Door of death on my list, like The Forgotten Cityand finally I’ll stop being cowardly and play some games Wildermyth, too.

I’ll be flopping between Apex Legends and Call Of Duty: Vanguard this weekend, staying with each long enough to give me a chance to do well with the other. I’ve managed to get out of harm’s way in Vanguard once already, so who knows what other miracles are doing for my weary bipartisan brain this weekend.

Halloween weekend ended up being a little less hilarious than I expected (it was my own fault for moving house the last week of October), so this weekend I’ll be playing more House of Ashes and hopefully get it done so I can finally dodge the spoilers. I’m also eager to see Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0, the sheer scope of which I’m so grateful to be writing a guide for a PC-specific site these days.
