Hi guys, I’m Ryan Bousfield, founder and director of Wolf & Wood Interactive, today I’m here to announce that our upcoming game, The Last Worker, is coming to PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 on March 30th!
For those who may not be familiar with the game, let me give you a quick introduction. The Last Worker is a first-person narrative adventure we’re creating with Jörg Tittel (writer, director) and Wired Productions (publisher) that balances light work simulation missions with stealth gameplay and an engaging dark and satirical story, delivered by an all-star actor. cast (starring Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Jason Isaacs, Clare-Hope Ashitay, David Hewlet, Zelda Williams and Tommie Earl Jenkins).
You are Kurt, the last worker of Jüngle – the most profitable company in the world. Kurt is responsible for “delivering dreams” with his co-bot SKEW, navigating a big distribution center (larger than the sinking island of Manhattan) on a gravity-defying cocoon, then use your “Jünglegun” to retrieve, analyze and then tag products appropriately before sending remove or destroy them. Kurt is quite content with his fate, all things considered – that is until a contact from a shady organization interrupts his day job and gives him a chance to see beneath the surface of Jüngle and the dark secrets that built an empire…
The Last Worker will be playable in both traditional “flat mode” and compatible with PS VR2, with both versions of the game being built independently to take full advantage of each game’s strengths and Make the most of the unique features that PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 hardware has to offer, of course.
Match and Save Game
The Last Worker will be available as a PS5 and PSVR2 title, but you won’t need to pay to upgrade, when you purchase the game you’ll get both versions – and save files and progress will be included switch between them. This means that if you spend your morning fully immersed in JFC-1’s PS VR2 world, but want to quickly switch shifts later without wearing a headset, you can simply play on your TV.
