Miley Cyrus There was a party in America on New Year’s Eve.
The 30-year-old female singer hosts the show Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party with godmother and country music icons Dolly Parton live from Miami on December 31.
In addition to being hosts, the duo have performed a number of hits together, including Joan Jett & the Blackhearts‘ “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” (a fitting choice when Dolly was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame), Patsy Cline“Walkin’ After Midnight” and their mashups of “Wrecking Ball” and “I Will Always Love You”.
And they weren’t the only stars on stage. Nine-time Grammy nominee Asianhip-hop duo Rae Sremmurdrapper lathe, talk first‘ David Byrnesinger “Stars Are Blind” Paris Hiltonsinger “Undrunk” FLETCHER and rock band Lily—whose drummer is Miley’s boyfriend Maxx Morando—was one of the artists on the stage.
And we can’t stop (and we won’t) talk about fashion.
“You know, tonight isn’t just about welcoming the new year and celebrating our shared love of music,” Miley pointed out on the show. “It’s mostly about the love that Aunt Dolly and I have for each other and our combination of looks.”
