Watch Meghan Markle’s Salsa Dancing Skills in New Video

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had an eventful trip to Colombia earlier this week and now Duke and Duchess shared a new video documenting the visit. In the clip, Markle proved that she was indeed gifted with unseen footage during their stay in the South American country, during which they visited Bogotá, Cartagena, and Cali.

In the video obtained by EverybodyHarry and Meghan could be seen addressing large crowds, greeting locals and learning about the culture alongside Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez. In some of the moments, Markle shows off her salsa dancing talent with members of the community, as well as her husband. In other parts of the footage, Markle and Harry play drums and participate in cultural performances.

Everybody The couple also shared that their organization, the Archewell Foundation, will be making three donations to support the country: a new drum set for Escuela Tambores de Cabildo in Cartagena, a donation to San Basilio de Palenque to provide local children with a safe education, and support for the expansion of the Social-Emotional Fitness program at Colegio La Giralda.

It’s no surprise that Markle is making the moves, as the former actress is very familiar with performing. Earlier this week, a college classmate of hers shared a flashback photo from their salsa dancing days. Iris Amador posted a photo with Markle and three other friends from a salsa class at Northwestern University, where Markle graduated in 2003 with a degree in theater and international studies.

“Salsa lessons with the future #DuchessOfSussex, while still in college,” Amador wrote alongside the photo.

Over the weekend, Markle also spoke on control panel at Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voices of Equity, where she expressed her gratitude to Márquez and the country for their hospitality. “The culture, the history—everything—was a dream,” she said. “This trip was a dream. I could feel this community, and it was the best feeling ever.”
