VPCM introduces Volkswagen Insurance Package for Golf GTI and Arteon – Warranty extension, free service
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced the offer of Volkswagen Insurance Package (VAP) for all models equipped with IQ.Drive, which is currently the Golf GTI And Arteon R-Line 4Motion.
With VAP, owners get a 5-year, unlimited-km manufacturer warranty as well as a 3-year, 45,000km maintenance package. This is an alternative to the standard two-year warranty that comes with cars delivered from July 3, 2023. Five-year roadside assistance is still available, with or without VAP.
“We remain fully committed to providing our customers with the best products that meet their needs. With VAP, customers can rest assured that we will protect them,” said Denyu Bostandzhiev, new chief executive officer of VPCM.
“Furthermore, our team of skilled technicians ensures that our customers’ vehicles are thoroughly inspected and parts that need replacement are replaced. It’s important to note that we only use genuine parts to ensure the vehicle’s reliability and continued performance,” he added.
Depending on the model selected, VAPs range in value from RM8,000 to RM10,000. Currently, the Golf GTI retails for RM246,012 on the uninsured road, while the Arteon R-Line 4Motion sells for RM301,012. This price is unchanged from before and includes VAP, so if you don’t want it, the retail price will be reduced.
