Discotek Media announced that it will release Virtua fighter plane on SD Blu-ray in 2022. It will have all 35 episodes with English subtitles. The first 24 episodes in the English dub are also available. Discotek will announce Blu-ray specials and extras at a later date via the company’s Twitter account.
The Virtua fighter plane The anime was first released in 1996, although it does not share the same plot as the game. Anime Works did voice acting for the first 24 episodes of the show. The company did not complete the dubbing of the series due to poor sales. Discotek Media is the first licensing company since Virtua fighter planeIts original dub will be for English audiences. Blu-ray SD contains episodes in standard definition, instead of the standard Blu-ray high definition format.
Virtua Fighter 2 there is a rather naked story, similar to Virtua Fighter 5. Both games feature battle leagues and a secret organization trying to create the ultimate fighting machines. However, the anime keeps the same setting while focusing more on the evil organization aspect. The program has Shinichiro Miki (Lockon Stratos from Mobile Suit Gundam 00) as Akira Yuki, and Naoko Matsui (Dorothy Catalonia in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing) as Pai Chan.
