Video: Cats, Butterflies, and Everything Else You Missed in the New Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Trailer
It’s hard to believe that in less than two months, we’ll be experiencing something completely new. Zelda game on Nintendo Switch.
It seems like just yesterday we were analyzing the third and final trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomBut we’re here to take a look at Nintendo’s latest marketing campaign. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This is the first main installment in the series to feature the princess herself, meaning the gameplay will be significantly different from what you’re used to seeing with the usual hero Link (or Barry, Keith, My Dude, or whatever name you’ve previously given him).
With that in mind, our lovely video producer Alex is here to take you through the latest trailer and list everything you might have missed the first time around. There’s a lot to take in from this trailer, so while we won’t be covering every single point covered in this article, you can find a quick list of some of the more interesting tidbits below.
- There are cats! And dogs! And cuccos!
- Posters of Zelda can be seen in the surroundings, perhaps announcing “Wanted” or “Missing”.
- Unsurprisingly, the quest interface is very similar to BOTW and TOTK.
- Unexplored areas on the map will have a faint outline to indicate unclear terrain.
- The Diver is back!
- Butterflies are one creature that you can seemingly catch.
- Clothes are for aesthetic purposes only and nothing more.
- Our companion Tri appears to be upgradeable, increasing the number of times you can control objects and enemies.
