US military shoots down an unidentified object in the Canadian Yukon territory : NPR
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he ordered the downing of an unidentified object that flew over the Canadian Yukon territory on Saturday.
Prime Minister Trudeau said the object was shot down by an American F-22 belonging to the North American Aerospace Defense Command of the US and Canada.
“I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian forces will now recover and analyze the object’s debris,” the prime minister said. “Thank you NORAD for following North America.”
The shooting took place a day after the incident The US Army has defeated “a high-altitude flying object” off the northern coast of Alaska, and a week after the military brought down a Chinese spy balloon South Carolina coast.
