Maralee Nichols, the woman who is believed to have just given birth to Tristan Thompson’s son, released a lengthy statement defending her character after the NBA Star announced in court that she has herpes.
According to legal documents filed by Tristan, Nichols had “medical reasons” for inducing labor earlier this month. And Tristan’s legal team claims it’s because of the highly contagious sexually transmitted disease.

“Since opening our private files to the media, I have been contacted by a source who confirmed that I should be examined because Plaintiff [Maralee] Tristan’s documents say she’s been diagnosed with herpes.
The documents continue: “Plaintiff told me she had been in a relationship with other athletes and understood the limitations of our relationship; it was clear that we could meet on a regular basis. sporadically for the sake of casual consensual sex.”
Nichols denied his allegations in a statement:
“Tristan told me he didn’t have sex with anyone else; it wasn’t casual sex and we didn’t have any arrangements. Tristan and I were in daily contact and talk on the phone. We’ll see each other a few times a month,” she said.
