Trina McGee is continuing to address her recent pregnancy announcement and revealed that her adult children have been aware of updates about her life online.

Trina McGee said her adult children learned about her pregnancy online
In an exclusive interview published by PEOPLE on Monday, June 17, the 54-year-old explained that she was “shocked” after finding out she was pregnant. At the time, however, she “didn’t think it was a big deal” and thought she would call her three adult children to tell her the news “later.”
The newspaper noted that McGee’s adult children are named Ramia, 31; Langston, 29 years old; and Ezra, 25 years old. The former ‘Boy Meets World’ actress shares her children with her first husband, Courtland Davis.
“I posted something on Facebook. I didn’t think it was a big deal and I said, ‘I’ll call the kids later,'” she recalled thinking. “’They’re grown up. They have their own lives.”
McGee explained that she usually talks to her children once a week. However, after the news spread, they now “talk more”.
“So typically, I might talk to them once a week on Sunday,” she said. “We’re talking more now. Two of them found out through the media, and one of them was really angry. It was just a matter of a few hours.”
Finally, the actor shared that she and her children are “all fine now”. Additionally, she explained that the incident brought them closer together.
“We’re all fine now,” she said. “And really, that motivated all of us to really talk and be together.”

According to McGee, her husband, Marcello Thedford, “reacted very lovingly” to her pregnancy.
“He’s amazing. Yesterday he took me to see the deer and play in the yard, just to give me some peace and quiet,” she explained. “We put a lot of work into our marriage, so I have a good marriage… My number one supporter is my husband.”
In addition, her former co-stars in ‘Boy Meets World’ also shared positive feelings.
“They wished me all the best,” she explained. “I actually talked to them by text a few weeks before it became public knowledge and I told them… It wasn’t like ‘I have to announce it,’ even though I like to announce it for them. But yes, they are amazing!”

Following his announcement, McGee received a lot of reactions online. Many social media users have made negative comments criticizing her age. In response, McGee said that she didn’t pay too much attention to the online conversation, according to The Shade Room.
“I saw some comments about, um, ‘She’s too old’… and I think I read about three comments about that, and I was like, ‘Don’t read that,’” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “…I don’t participate in any of the negativity that anyone says about it. I’m very happy. I was blessed, and that was it.”
