Thousands are expected to hit the streets of Scotland later as the Queen’s coffin is driven from Balmoral to Edinburgh.
Six custodians from the compound will lift her oak coffin into the hearse at 10 a.m., with the journey expected to take about six hours.
She will rest at Edinburgh’s Holyroodhouse – the official residence of the Scottish monarch – for staff to pay their respects.
The public will get their first chance to see the coffin on Monday, when it moves to the city’s Church of St Giles.
Today’s journey goes through some beautiful countryside Queen loved it, arrived in Aberdeen around 11:20 a.m. and moved through the outskirts of the city.
Heading south, the boat will arrive in Dundee around 2:15pm and then head towards Perth, before catching the M90 motorway.
The biggest crowds will likely be in Edinburgh, where the route runs the full length of the famous Royal Mile – the city’s main tourist area – at around 4pm.

The Queen will rest for the night in the Throne Room in Holyroodhouse, before the King and Queen join a procession to church on Monday afternoon.
Public viewing of coffins begins at 5pm on Monday but people have been warned about long waits and photography and video recording are strictly prohibited.
The king and other high-ranking royals will be on constant watch around the coffin, known as the Vigil of the Princes, from 7:20pm on Monday.
Princess Anne will fly to London with her mother’s body on Tuesday.

The king announced in the historic ceremony
On Saturday, Charles III was officially proclaimed king in an ancient ceremony at St James’s Palace in London.
The Accession Council meeting took place before Privy Counselors including Prince William, the Archbishop of Canterbury and six former prime ministers.
Standing before the throne, the King said that his mother’s reign was “unmatched in its time, dedication and devotion”.
The ceremony included trumpets, performances of the national anthem and “three cheers for the king”. An hour later, the second statement was read at the Royal Exchange in the City of London.
Prince Andrew and the Queen’s other children and grandchildren had previously come together to view the flowers left for the Queen at Balmoral.

Tearful royals watch tributes at Balmoral
“We’ve been given a date, now we start the process of handing her over,” Andrew said as he thanked the wise men.
Several members of the family were seen wiping away tears as they read messages from the public.
There is also a touching tribute from Prince William as the new heir paid tribute to his “Grannie” in a statement published on Twitter.
“She was by my side in my happiest moments. And she was by my side during the saddest days of my life,” he said.
“I know this day will come, but there will come a time when the reality of life without Grannie really feels real.”
The prince said he is grateful his children have had precious years with her, creating “memories that will last a lifetime”.

The princes put the rift aside to show solidarity
However, it was an unexpected event that made most newspaper front page on Sunday – with William and Prince Harry seemed to put aside their rift to meet the public in Windsor.
The brothers were joined by Kate and Meghan and the couples greeted people for more than 45 minutes on the town’s Long Walk.
It is understood that Prince William has reached out to his brother in hopes of showing solidarity after they have split up over the past few years.
The King set the tone on Friday when he stopped outside Buckingham Palace on Friday to meet the public – a move widely praised – and a he repeats on Saturday near Clarence House.
One of his first meetings was an audience with the Commonwealth secretary general at Buckingham Palace on Sunday, before meeting high commissioners from the countries where he is head of state. .
Coming up next week, the Queen’s coffin will be taken to Buckingham Palace after landing in London on Tuesday, for staff to pay their respects.
It will then be taken to Westminster Hall on Wednesday, and on Thursday, four clear days of the state are in the starting state – with hundreds of thousands of people expected to file through the coffin.
