The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is Now Open
One of the TPG’s Most Anticipated New Hotels of 2024 finally opens its doors to travelers looking for an ultra-luxury retreat in South Florida.
St. Regis Longboat Key Resort officially opened to any guests with reservations at the hotel, spa or restaurant, according to a phone call TPG made to the hotel on Friday. New resort — the only new St. Regis hotel to open in the United States this year — is located on a beautiful barrier island near the picturesque city of Sarasota.
Current room rates start at $616 or 88,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.
The St. Regis’ newest resort features an 800-foot private beach, a 20,000-square-foot spa, and a 475-foot, winding pool. There’s even a Champagne button for ordering a glass of the perfect bubbly—after all, you’re staying at the St. Regis.
With 168 guest rooms, the resort features 26 suites with private terraces, and all rooms feature a luxurious beachfront style with blond wood floors, rainfall showerheads, walk-in tubs, and walk-in closets. Butler service—a St. Regis standard—is also part of your stay at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort.
“I’m pretty sure that most people when they walk in [will] “It’s about saying ‘wow,’” Winfred van Workum, the resort’s general manager, told TPG earlier this year. “But I really hope after the first day, they leave and say, ‘This is the best service I’ve ever received.’”
