The man with cerebral palsy couldn’t eat or sleep until the missing dog returned
A man named Bailey had cerebral palsy and was severely disabled. So he has an English Bulldog named Max, which acts as a mental support dog for him. Max helps Bailey calm down and make everyday activities easier.
When Max goes missing, Bailey’s world is turned upside down. His father, Sgt. Jonathan Gaither said Bailey had a hard time eating and sleeping without Max. Every day the dog and human duo are apart, things get worse and worse. The family from Tallapoosa County, Alabama, are begging for Max’s safe return without any questions because they just want Bailey to feel well again.
Panics Over family missing dog
It’s always scary not knowing where your dog is, but it’s even scarier when it affects the health of a family member. According to Gaither, Bailey would not have been able to function properly without her fluffy friend by her side to comfort her. He barely slept, struggled for food, and experienced excruciating pain for the 35 days Max was gone.
“Help us find and bring Max home! We know he’s still in the area! He is our son’s emotional support animal! Max has been gone for 35 days! Since his disappearance, Bailey (our severely disabled son with cerebral palsy) has not slept, fasted much, his pain level doubled due to stress and strain on his weak body. his flimsy peppers, and his INR went insanely high dangerously low and his bp wouldn’t be stable! ‘ Max’s family wrote.
The family also shared several photos, including two of Bailey with Max and two of him after his pet dog went missing. With Max, Bailey always had a smile on his face, but without him, he looked so heartbroken and depressed.
Help reunite Max and Bailey!
Max is not only a spiritual support dog but also has some special needs of his own. He needs daily medication and a specific diet. The family says he is more than just a dog to them; He is their child and an important member of the family. They are offering a $2,500 reward to anyone who returns him.
“Please give him back! No questions asked, $2500.00 bonus awarded! My son’s health is worth more than anything you could possibly need Max! Our son’s health is deteriorating day by day, and he doesn’t understand! “

It’s unclear how Max disappeared, but it’s likely someone found him because his breed is in high demand. If that’s the case, the family is begging the person to do the right thing.
If you know where Max is, you can contact Gaither at the Auburn Police Department by calling 334-501-3110. You can also keep up with the Elizabeth White news personality at [email protected] or through Facebook. Hopefully Max and Bailey can see each other again soon.
