The man who unmasked his mother’s daughter removed the braids for his wife

A man has unmasked his daughter’s mother for her reaction when his wife braided his daughter’s hair. According to screenshots of an alleged string of messages to the mother, she has removed the style – mocking the father with progressive photos. Now, Facebook users are debating the impact of co-parenting on children.

“So my daughter’s mom put these braids on my baby’s head on b4 Thanksgiving and her head and scalp look like this,” the father wrote on Facebook. “So I asked my wife to do a quick and clean job for my baby’s head b4 I took her away. And this is how her mother acted.”

The father, identified as Kirk Stone, on his personal page also posted photos and videos of the child’s hair before and after the new hairstyle. In the previous clip, the young girl’s hair is styled into a ponytail with white beads at the ends. The style seems stale – especially shaggy by Jim Jones.

Wife braids her hair, mom goes out in style

Kirk’s Facebook profile shows that he is engaged to Dajanai Latrese–unmarried. However, he called his lover “wife” in the viral post. At Kirk’s request, the fiancée/wife chose bows decorated with the same white beads. But the girl’s mother, identified as Amari Jones in the message thread, was not pleased with Dajanai’s efforts, calling the style a waste of time.

“So you let your girlfriend touch my daughter’s hair? There is NO REASON HUH has taken his time to GET IT DOWN,” the alleged mother wrote.

Mothers attach a photo of the style taken in part. A few minutes later, she texted, “MATCH HER SITTING FOR NO REASON.” Eleven minutes after the first text, the mother sent another photo of their daughter’s hair. This time, the braid was completely gone, and her hair was pulled into two vertical buns.

The mother managed to call Kirk within minutes of sending the updated photo. It is unclear if the parents spoke on the phone after the missed call or when the messages were delivered correctly. But Kirk released the status and footage on Monday afternoon — days after Thanksgiving.

Facebook users react to dad’s post

By Tuesday, the post had more than 7,300 shares and nearly 3,000 comments. Reactions ranged from “bitter mother” comments to questions about what led to their deteriorating co-parenting relationship. So why is the father sharing this private dispute? He said he wanted to show evidence of what he thought was typical behavior.

“I don’t usually do this but I wanted to give a small example of bitterness and ignorance, trying to hurt my child, hurting my child. SAD,” Stone wrote.

Dajanai also shared Kirk’s post, writing “sad and very bitter” in her comments.
