The jet black dog turned completely white, its front and back were amazing
A dog’s loyalty is unwavering, steadfast until the very end. Although they grow and change, over time their original appearance remains recognizable. This journey explores the story of a puppy and how on the inside he remains the same, but on the outside he transforms into something completely different. Buster is a prime example of a loyal and loving dog. Combined with his remarkable transformation, he has joined the ranks to become one of the most interesting dogs we have ever met. Buster initially joined the family as a lively puppy, whose shiny coal-black coat and cheerful demeanor quickly won everyone’s hearts.
Buster Before
As time passed, an unexpected change began. Buster’s shiny black fur begins to show signs of white, starting around his face and slowly spreading to his entire body. Within two and a half years, his dark fur had completely turned a brilliant milky white. His master explained above Reddit“He would lose his black fur and new white fur would appear. So at one point he was bald in some places until the new fine white fur grew out.”
Now, Buster shows off his perfect, luxurious white fur. He is still as handsome as ever, proving that regardless of skin color, Buster has the charisma and style to attract all eyes with ease. The reason behind Buster’s incredible transformation is a rare disease called vitiligo. This condition leads to loss of pigment in patches of skin or hair, turning them white due to the cessation of melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing pigment.
Vitiligo affects both humans and dogs, often causing color changes around the nose, mouth and eyes. It is a cosmetic and genetic condition that causes no pain or discomfort to the affected animal. Although it can occur in any breed, certain breeds, such as Rottweilers, Dachshunds, and German Shepherds, are genetically more susceptible to the condition.

Although vitiligo is generally not a cause for alarm, pet owners who notice such changes in their dog’s coat should consult a veterinarian. This ensures that there are no other underlying health issues that need to be addressed. Although Buster’s appearance has changed significantly, his transformation is both harmless and dramatic, adding a unique touch to his already lovable character.
