1st grade champion Lexitonian mating his first reported pony when a baby comes out Taurus Girl Vinca was born on January 29th at Calumet farm, which raised filth. The Lexitonian raced as a thoroughbred Calumet and the ranch still owns the stallion at Lane’s End.
Eddie Kane, general manager of Calumet, said: “We are delighted to see our Lexitonian hybrid ponies and delighted to have our first foal born at Calumet. “She has lots of legs, good bones, and good proportions. If this is any indication of what his children will look like, we’re off to a great start.”
Lexitonian is the 7-year-old son of a champion sprinter Sightstown . He won the first ask with a score of 2 and became the bet winner on the second start with a score of 3, winning the Chick Lang Stakes (G3). At the age of 4, he was second after Collusion Illusion in Bing Crosby Stakes (G1), and in 5th place won 1st place in Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) at Racecourse Saratoga. He is also a runner-up in Churchill Downs Stakes (G1) with a score of 5. He will retire with a 5-2-2 record after 21 starts and earns $718,682.
