The Electronic Wireless Show episode 164: The best AI characters in the special game

I can’t remember why I chose this topic, but for this episode of The Electronic Wireless Show audio file I’m talking about AI characters – like game characters, some kind of artificial intelligence. This definition actually causes some trouble. After all, isn’t every character in the game that the player can’t control an AI character, fn fn fn?

No, because you all know what I mean and so does Nate. Matthew did not know, and had prepared a list of exact companion characters. Don’t worry, he actually pulls out some really good examples. We talk about a lot of games this week, especially since I didn’t re-prepared Cavern Of Lies. Sorry. There’s also been a lot of talk about clones, and what Matthew will do with his clones (e.g. push them out of the windmill).

You can hear on Spotifyor higher, or go straight to Soundcloud where you can download it for later use. Now you can also discuss the episode on our Discord channel, has a dedicated room for podcast chat.

You can also get RSS feed here or find it on iTunes, Stitchers or Pocket Casts.

The music is by Jack de Quidt, definitely a real person.

Note
Nate really likes little men in Republic Commando, even though they are clones and not AI.

Apparently we discuss GLaDOS and Wheatley since Portal (and Portal 2) and Cortana from Halo.

I really like Sam from Observe, a game in which you play a malfunctioning AI aboard a spaceship rather than a lone crew member panicking by a malfunctioning AI. Nate compares this to Space station 13.

There are a lot of interesting (depending on your definition or your level of satire) AI characters in the Borderlands series, including Borderlands 3 and Stories from the border.

Let’s scream again to Soma, one of my most favorite horror games and a true psychological horror.

Matthew also sold goods in a hot manner Virtues’ Final Reward.

Recommendations This week is the brand new Dexter series – it could be better than before! – NS I don’t even own a television podcast about bad books, and Leprechaun, a kdrama about a man who can’t die, has mage powers, and has a sword embedded in his body (??), sounds great.
