He may have been abandoned and found a safe place in a pile of discarded items.
After being discovered, a good Samaritan called Stray Rescue of St. Louis and asked for help. The rescuers promised the caller that they would do everything possible to save the dog from a tragic fate. Upon arrival, Donna, who led the rescue team, stepped out of the vehicle with her trusted volunteers by her side. At first, all she saw was a big pile of trash. But when she got closer, she spotted the puppy’s small head poking out from the pile of trash.
The dog with the most innocent face could have been thrown out with the trash. How could anyone consider a dog as worthless as an unnecessary item? Pitiful! Donna, with a loving attitude and gentle voice, approached the dog and bent down to his level. She talked to the puppy that he was fine now and they would help him.
Pit Bull wagged its tail but did not move. In fact, it seems like he was frozen in his previous life. Donna put the leash around its head and tried to coax it out, but the dog wouldn’t budge. Donna continued and even gently pulled on the leash. However, the dog still resisted. She had no choice but to pull harder, and it finally worked. The dog hesitantly approached her, wagging its tail nervously.
It’s official! The dog was safe and sound. It’s time to head to the rescue center to give him a warm bath, a hearty meal, and some much-needed love.
