Among the crew, one individual, Stream Team Coordinator Brian Waldrop, was particularly moved by the plight of the puppy found in such dire circumstances.
Tell me about your experience REPORT 2 St. Louis, Brian expressed his immediate affection for the puppy, “I just knelt down, picked him up and fell in love immediately,” he shared. For Brian, meeting a dog in such a way was a first. Despite the unusual circumstances of their meeting, he felt an immediate connection and made the decision to adopt the puppy himself, believing it was destiny.
Once home, a bath transformed the puppy from seemingly yellow fur to pure white fur, demonstrating the puppy’s adorable nature and soft fur, as Brian described to REPORT 2. While still thinking about a name for the dog, with suggestions like “Hefty” floating around due to the circumstances of their meeting in the Hefty trash bag, Brian affectionately called him “Dude.” .
Thanks to the cleanup team and Brian’s willingness to provide a forever home for the puppy, this story has a happy ending!
