Those dynamics add up. Save up to $8,500delivers the real value of a Leaf S down to $20,780. That’s still a bit higher than the $19,490 MSRP of the base 2024 Nissan Versa S (Nissan has yet to announce pricing for the 2025 model) with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and Nissan also lists an even lower-priced Versa S with a manual. But current financing incentives still make the Leaf cheaper.
According to CarsDirect, Nissan is currently offering 3.19% APR financing for a five-year Leaf and 8.37% for a Versa. Over the same loan term, CarsDirect estimates that a Versa would cost $23,819 at $399 a month. But a Leaf would cost $22,509 at $375 a month.

The $7,500 bonus that comes with this financial incentive also makes up for the fact that the Leaf Loss of eligibility for federal EV tax credit for the 2025 model year.
