The 2025 Mercedes GLC 350e PHEV has an electric range of 54 miles for $61,050


A new plug-in hybrid version of the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class crossover SUV is coming to the United States in 2025.

Called the GLC 350e, the plug-in hybrid cost $61,050 includes a $1,150 destination charge and is available at dealerships now. It’s based on the current-generation GLC-Class due out in 2023.

The powertrain combines a 2.0-liter turbo-4 with an electric motor for a total output of 313 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. According to Mercedes, this will help the GLC 350e accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds. Top speed is limited to 135 mph in hybrid mode and 87 mph in electric mode.

The GLC 350e has both an 11 kW AC charger and a 60 kW DC fast charger, with the latter capable of Fully charge the battery in about 30 minutesAccording to Mercedes. While Mercedes plans to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its electric vehicles, the GLC 350e continues to use the Combined Charging Standard (CCS) port for now.

Notable standard features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 11.9-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, digital key functionality, 64-color ambient lighting, and self-leveling suspension.

The GLC 350e isn’t the only plug-in hybrid in the GLC-Class lineup. The AMG GLC 63 SE Performance will also be available in the U.S. in 2025, with 671 horsepower. But it’s more performance than efficiency. Both models will join the plug-in hybrid version of the The larger GLE-Class to be launched with the 2024 model year.

Mercedes is also said to have plans to bring EQC electric SUV to the United States by 2025after an aborted attempt in 2019—and subsequent delays—to launch an earlier version. The automaker announced last month that it delay your EV targetwith internal combustion engine vehicles “potentially viable well into the 2030s”.
