Mine is diabetic so we had a prescription from the vet for Royal Canin. Lots of options if I remember correctly. Kind of spending though.

Mack (RIP) suffers from dry skin/allergies. He was scratching all the time. It all disappeared when I started adding coconut oil to his food. About a teaspoon per meal. We feed it mid-range quality food from the supermarket. Nothing fancy.

Our Corgi was diagnosed with a chicken allergy. Veterinarian recommended hydrolyzed protein dog’s food. Lucy likes all foods, fruits, vegetables so filling her food is easy. Chicken appears in almost ALL dog foods. I will have to try the coconut oil in her food as well as the suggestion.

I make my own food for Reggie from venison harvested on our land. I mixed with organic sweet potatoes, brown rice, chickpeas, carrots and a raw egg. Keep cold.
