Narayana Health Takes Contact Center to the Cloud
Bangalore-based private hospital group Narayana Health has moved its contact centre to the cloud as part of its digitisation drive.
According to a press release, the group adopted Genesys’ cloud solution to consolidate its previous contact center systems and handle more than 50,000 customer calls per day.
The group, which serves more than four million patients a year, needed a solution to “efficiently manage a diverse network of partners operating across different systems.”
Moving to a cloud platform gave them a unified view of all customer interactions and saw a significant reduction in processing times of an average of 15%. The platform, which features comprehensive analytics, predictive routing, and reporting tools, provides insights into patient interactions and operational performance.
Narayana Health is now considering implementing a chatbot that would connect patients and care coordinators to address more complex queries.
