Tesla (TSLA) — Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said he won’t sell any more shares of Tesla for 18 to 24 months. Musk sold about $39 billion in stock over the past year, in his $44 billion buyout deal Twitter. Tesla gained 1.2% in the premarket market.
Nutanix (NTNX) – Nutanix dropped 16.6% on premarket following a report that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has concluded negotiations to acquire the cloud computing company.
Meta . Platform (META) – Meta and users of its Facebook platform have settled a class-action privacy lawsuit, with Meta agreed to pay 725 million dollars. The lawsuit stems from the 2018 revelation that data firm Cambridge Analytica collected information from tens of millions of Facebook users.
production duty (AVO) – Avocado producer reported lower-than-expected profit and revenue as increased output was not enough to offset falling avocado prices. Mission Produce is down 13.7% in premarket deals.
3M (MMM) – 3M was barred by a judge from transferring liability to a subsidiary in a lawsuit involving combat earplugs. The incident stemmed from injuries sustained by members of the military who used allegedly faulty earplugs.
toro (TTC) – The lawn care and outdoor products company has been upgraded to outperform market performance at Raymond James, which has a price target of $130 from yesterday’s close is $111.15 a share. Toro also reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings earlier this week. Shares gained 1% in pre-marketing action.
biological (BIIB) – Biogen’s Japanese partner Eisai confirmed to Reuters reports of a third death during a trial of their experimental Alzheimer’s treatment and said the cause was under investigation.
Oilfield services stocks – Halliburton (HAL) grew 1.4% in the premarket market, with Schlumberger (SLB) rose 1.3% and Baker Hughes (BKR) increased by 1%. Profits were made when crude oil prices rose more than 2% at the beginning of the session.
