Tesla Cybertruck electric ute bares all in latest photos

There may be no point to a Tesla Cybertruck reveal after all, as nearly every element of the electric ute has been revealed already.

The latest in a long string of leaked and spy photos are these, which give us our clearest look yet at the ute’s interior.

While the origin of these new images is unconfirmed, they seem to offer a high level of detail, suggesting these could be leaked press images.

The images, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user ya78756632 depict new views of the ‘frunk’ and interior of the ute.

The Cybertruck will be officially shown off on November 30, nearly four years after the Cybertruck was initially revealed in 2019.

It will be revealed at a special “delivery event”, at which point Tesla will begin the first deliveries of the long-awaited ute.

Starting with the interior, contrast white trim can be seen on the dashboard, with the theme extending onto the seats. A glass roof bathes the minimalist cabin with light.

The A-pillars and dashboard are wrapped mostly with what appears to be Alcantara, potentially reducing glare from the flat dashboard, while the seats have a sporty look.

There’s no steering yoke, but there is an exceptionally squared-off wheel.

We also get a close look at the operating system on the central touchscreen.

From the leaked picture, we can see the Cybertruck features:

  • An electronically adjustable steering column
  • Power-folding mirrors
  • Guest profiles with various wireless connection options (presumably for the driver’s phone)
  • Height-adjustable adaptive suspension
  • An electronically adjustable rolling tonneau cover
  • Car Wash mode
  • Sentry mode
  • Child and window locks

In addition, we get a clearer look at the size of the Cybertruck’s ‘frunk’, or under-bonnet storage compartment. Despite the wide opening of the Cybertruck’s frunk, the space only offers roughly 200 litres in capacity.

The Ford F-150 Lightning can swallow double what the Cybertruck’s frunk can.

These new leaked images come as an advertising banner at a Tesla showroom in San Diego’s UTC mall reveals more stats about the ute.

The banner confirms the Cybertruck is claimed to have a towing capacity of 11,000 pounds (4989kg) and a payload of 2500 pounds (1134kg).

It also states the Cybertruck will feature shatter-proof glass, an “ultra-hard stainless-steel exoskeleton”, and an “ultra-tough” composite bed.

According to the Tesla website, the electric ute will boast up to 804km of range and be able to achieve a 0-60mph (0-96km/h) time of 2.9 seconds.

Final specifications and pricing are expected to be revealed at the delivery event.

The Cybertruck has been spied testing in public numerous times, with the most recent sighting occurring late last month showing the Cybertruck tackle an off-road course.

The ute also appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, before the host shot an arrow at it. The ute has also been shot at with a submachine gun to prove how tough it is.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said previously how difficult the manufacturing process is for the stainless steel-bodied Cybertruck, causing major production delays.

He said Tesla will end up producing roughly 250,000 Cybertrucks a year, but only in 2025 as production will ramp up slowly.
