Terell Bostic earns a win decision against Clay Burns

Terell Jeremy Bostic lightweight 7-1 is half of Boxing Insider’s Fight Night co-main event on Thursday. His opponent in the scheduled six-round lightweight bout is Clay Burns 10-16-2. Somewhat surprisingly, Burns was aggressive in the first half and continued to be aggressive in the second. However, Bostic is determined to keep it as a boxing match rather than turning it into a street fight. This strategy proved effective when Burns was knocked out by a Bostic top in the third round. However, Burns was able to get up, looking no worse wearing it.
Burns advanced in the fourth inning, while Bostic decided to keep his distance. Bostic urged with his stab and stood on his back foot in the fifth round. On the other hand, Burns looks for opportunities to attack his opponent. The sixth and final inning saw Burns play extremely well while Bostic used his superior skill set to control the tempo. It was a fun fight, but there was no doubt that Bostic would win by unanimous decision. Even Burns clapped for the winner after the scores were read.
“He was tough, but I went in there and got the job done,” Bostic said in his post-match interview. “The next game I’m going to be sharp – much sharper than this.”
