Watch and jewelry retailer Wempe partners with Girard-Perregaux to launch the latest model in the Wempe Signature Collection of limited editions.
New one Wempe x Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Signature Collection is the 42mm x 12.1mm version of the watchmaker’s famous integrated steel case product line. With the Wempe, Girard-Perregaux created a distinctive bronze dial with a Clous-de-Paris pattern specifically designed to reflect and refract light.
Girard-Perragaux has also applied bright gold to the baton-shaped hour markers and the hour and minute hands of the bright gold watch to enhance the shine. The bronze dial has three sub-dials, each with a silver background.
Again, the running seconds are located at 3 o’clock, while the remaining two counters show elapsed minutes (at 9 o’clock) and hours (at 6 o’clock). Chronograph seconds are read from the central Chronograph seconds hand.
Girard-Perregaux’s superb automatic Caliber GP03300-2361 powers the chronograph, providing a robust power reserve of 46 hours.
